Who We Are
CoDIQ ("we", "us", "our") is a Call of Duty analytics platform. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at itachicod2020@gmail.com.
What Data We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
• Account information — your email address and display name, provided through Clerk when you sign up.
• Username & team name — the public-facing identifiers you choose. These are stored in Clerk and are visible to other users in search results and the leaderboard.
• Match data — kills, deaths, map, mode, weapon, damage, and win/loss results you manually enter. This data belongs to you and is stored in our cloud database (Supabase).
• Team data — your roster, player slots, and team stats. Stored in Supabase and associated with your account.
• Subscription tier — your current plan (Free, Pro, or Elite) stored in Clerk's private metadata.
• Leaderboard data — if you have 25+ matches and a public account, your display name and aggregated stats (K/D, win rate) are stored and shown on the public leaderboard.
We do not collect your IP address for tracking, sell your data, or use third-party advertising trackers.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to:
• Authenticate you and maintain your account
• Display your stats and team information across your devices
• Make your profile and team discoverable to other CoDIQ users (if your account is public)
• Rank you on the global leaderboard (if you qualify and your account is public)
• Generate AI-powered coaching insights based on your match history
• Process subscription payments
Cloud Storage (Supabase)
Your match data, team rosters, and player stats are stored in Supabase, a cloud database service. This allows your data to sync across all your devices. Supabase stores data on secure servers. Their privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.
Data is stored under your unique user ID and is only accessible by you and, in the case of shared team data, your team captain or teammates.
Authentication (Clerk)
We use Clerk (clerk.com) to handle account creation and sign-in. Clerk stores your email address, display name, username, team name, subscription tier, and team invites on their servers. Their privacy policy is available at clerk.com/privacy.
AI Features (Anthropic)
When you use AI Analysis or Pro Player Comparison features, your match statistics are sent to the Anthropic API to generate a coaching report. No personally identifiable information (name, email, or account ID) is included in these requests — only your anonymized game stats.
Anthropic's privacy policy is available at anthropic.com/privacy.
Payments (Stripe)
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe (stripe.com). We never see or store your payment card details — Stripe handles all payment data securely. Their privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
Team Data & Shared Access
When you join a team by accepting an invite:
• The team captain can view all match stats logged under your player slot on that team
• Other team members can see your aggregated team stats
• Your individual match history remains tied to your account
When you are a team captain, your team's roster and stats are stored in Supabase under your user ID. Invited players' match logs are written to your team's data with their permission.
Public Leaderboard
If your account is set to Public and you have logged 25 or more matches, your display name, K/D ratio, win rate, and composite score may appear on the CoDIQ global leaderboard, visible to all users including unauthenticated visitors.
You can remove yourself from the leaderboard at any time by setting your account to Private in Settings → Profile. This takes effect immediately.
Content Moderation
We apply an automated profanity and hate speech filter to all user-submitted names (usernames, team names, player names). Inputs that contain slurs or offensive language are rejected and never stored. This filter is in place to maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all users.
Data Retention
Your account and match data are retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing itachicod2020@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
If you cancel a paid subscription, your data is retained and your account reverts to the Free tier. Data is not deleted on cancellation.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
• Access the data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Opt out of the public leaderboard by setting your account to Private
• Export your match data (contact us to request a copy)
To exercise any of these rights, email itachicod2020@gmail.com.
Children's Privacy
CoDIQ is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
